Many co-operatives struggle to operate without a coherent set of policies and procedures. This workshop equips the student with a methodology for the development of a dynamic and responsive policy and procedure framework.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, the students should be able to:

• Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between governance and policy and procedure development in a co-operative
• Demonstrate understanding of the process of policy and procedure development
• Draft a policy proposal to solve a problem in their co-op

Workshop Duration

This half day workshop can be easily combined with another half dayer.
