This exercise takes the students through the process of drawing up a risk assessment for a given workplace and helps them develop a proactive attitude to health and safety.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, the students should be able to:

• Produce a Risk Assessment for a given work situation.

Workshop Duration

This exercise is designed to follow the Health and Safety, General workshop. It should take about an hour. It can be related to the students\' own workplace (it could be delivered at their workplace), or it can be related to a hypothetical situation.

Please note that it may not be possible to achieve all the learning objectives in shorter versions of workshops.
