CAN has been upgrading its human resources offer to help organisations to understand their HR needs and meet recent customer demand created by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“For one thing we’ve developed some new HR products enabling organisations to understand their own HR needs, and from that assessment identify further help they might need,” explained CAN’s HR lead John Merritt.
“Of course we also continue to incorporate any new legislation that’s relevant, both to stay in line with regular updates, and partly because we’ve had quite a lot of HR requests around various employment issues in different industries where specialist knowledge is needed.”
Recent customer support requests have included issues such as HR policies, effective and legal recruitment and employment law, safeguarding, supporting team development and even dismissals. And this is not just for full time employees, but for apprentices, part-time workers and associates.
They’ve come from a range of organisations, including one focusing on adult care, a young people’s support organisation, a renewable energy organisation and an environmental training and consultancy service.
As well as providing HR support and consultancy, CAN can also step in to help organisations wanting to set up systems, wanting to outsource all or some HR functions, or needing training or development work in their chosen areas of need.
“We’ve now developed an enhanced suite of products and updated information and services around HR, so if you’d like to explore what we can offer, do contact me in the first instance for a no-obligation chat about your HR support needs,” said John.
