This interactive workshop is designed to help students specify the social functions of a social enterprise and develop their social accounting practice. Ideally but not essentially, students will first have carried out a stakeholder analysis so that they understand who their stakeholders are and their needs and expectations.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the workshop, the students should be able to:
- Set the social aims and objectives of a social enterprise
- Specify social product
- Set targets to achieve social objectives
- Set processes and systems to monitor social output
- Identify indicators and measures to collect
- Set a process for reporting on the social output
- Understand how to carry out social impact measurement
- Understand how to carry out a social audit
- Carry out a social return on investment (SROI) calculation
