Social Accounting workshop

This interactive workshop is designed to help students specify the social functions of a social enterprise and develop their social accounting practice. Ideally but not essentially, students will first have carried out a stakeholder analysis so that they understand who their stakeholders are and their needs and expectations.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, the students should be able to:

Set the social aims and objectives of a social enterprise
Specify social product
Set targets to achieve social objectives
Set processes and systems to monitor social output
Identify indicators and measures to collect
Set a process for reporting on the social output
Understand how to carry out social impact measurement
Understand how to carry out a social audit
Carry out a social return on investment (SROI) calculation
