Member Involvement workshop

This interactive workshop is aimed at co-operatives that are having problems with their internal democracy or that have unbalanced stakeholder involvement. It is designed to cover the issues in depth and leave the student with a practical and feasible action plan for improvement.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, the students should be able to:

Define excellence in Member involvement for their organisations
Describe stakeholder groups and define appropriate levels and kind of engagement
Design a means to audit the levels of democratic engagement
Design an improvement plan for their organisation

Workshop Duration

This workshop can be delivered as a half day or as a full day. The long version includes excellence in meetings, principled negotiation and good decision making.

Please note that it may not be possible to achieve all the learning objectives in shorter versions of workshops.
