Co-operative Assistance Network Limited

This workshop covers the law on general principles, recruitment, equal opportunities, health and safety, disciplinary and grievance and termination in relation to small and medium sized businesses. It is designed to be flexible and interactive so that it is most appropriate to the learning needs of the students and their enterprises.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, the students should be able to demonstrate:

• Understanding of the key principles of employment law
• Ability to advise other members of their enterprise on matters of employment law
• Ability to produce guidelines for a given enterprise to observe when drawing up employment contracts

Workshop Duration

This half day workshop can easily be combined with another half day workshop.

Please note that it may not be possible to achieve all the learning objectives in shorter versions of workshops.
