Over the course of the last year, we have replaced all our IT infrastructure. Gone are the old laptops which took 40 minutes to start up, gone are the old 2G phones, the creaky old server and obsolete email system, in come Android smart phones, ThinkPad laptops and the latest software that links them all together.
You may have noticed that we have changed our email addresses from can.coop to assist.coop. This is because we have to run the old system in parallel with the new for a while, but please note that we will be sticking with the new addresses and not changing back again. This is a permanent change, so please delete can.coop email addresses in your contact lists.
This comprehensive and integrated upgrade will keep us at the leading edge of ICT, enabling us to work more smartly, especially when we are working remotely. It will help us reduce overheads, increase efficiency and offer a better service to our clients.
We achieved this with expert help from the Software Co-op and the Phone Co-op, both of which have given us an excellent and friendly service.
