Following a recent comprehensive policy review, CAN is pleased to publish its policy set.

We have decided to publish our policies for a number of reasons, including:

• It accords with our mission to be a good example of a worker co-operative
• We strive to be an Open Source co-operative
• These policies and the template that we use may be a useful resource for other co-operatives, including startups and existing co-ops.

Please note, though, they are not designed to be templates or models, they are examples of actual working policies. We do not advocate that you simply copy these policies, either individually or collectively, rather use them as discussion documents for your own policy development. Your co-op is not the same as our co-op.
